Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and FinanceFlow. By creating your account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What FinanceFlow is
FinanceFlow is an app for writing down and following your personal and work finances: accounts, cards, spending, income and what you have saved.
It is a tool for keeping your finances in order. It is not a bank or a payment institution, it does not move your money and it does not connect to your bank account.
2. What the app never asks for
FinanceFlow never asks for a card number, expiry date, security code, bank password or access to your bank account. To add a card, all it takes is a name, a color and the card brand.
If anyone asks for those details on behalf of FinanceFlow, do not give them: it is a scam.
3. Your account
To use the app you create an account with true information and keep your access safe. You are responsible for what is done with your access.
You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Let us know if you suspect that someone else has accessed your account.
4. Subscription and payment
Access is granted through a subscription with an end date. That date is shown in Settings, and the app lets you know when it is getting close.
The price, the payment method and the renewal conditions are those shown at the time of purchase.
You can cancel your purchase and get your money back within the period that the law of your country guarantees for online purchases.
After the subscription ends, access may be limited until you renew. Your data is kept for a period so you can come back; if it is going to be deleted, we will tell you beforehand.
5. The numbers are yours
Everything the app shows (balances, forecasts, charts, the return on your savings goals) is calculated from what you enter. If an entry is wrong or missing, the result will be too.
The balance forecast and the return on your savings goals are estimates. The real amount is always the one your bank reports.
FinanceFlow does not give financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. Decisions about your money are yours; for the important ones, talk to a professional.
6. Proper use
Use the app for your own finances and within the law.
You may not try to get into other people’s accounts, get around security, copy the system, resell access or deliberately overload the service.
Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or closed.
7. Availability
We work to keep the app online and running well, but we do not promise it will never fail. There may be pauses for maintenance, which we announce through the bell whenever possible.
The app may gain, change or lose features over time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, FinanceFlow is not liable for losses that come from decisions made on the basis of the app, from data entered incorrectly, from failures of the internet or of your device, or from service interruptions.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.
Nothing here takes away rights that the consumer protection law of your country guarantees and that a contract cannot limit.
9. Your data
The data you enter is yours. How it is handled is described in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
10. Closing your account
You can stop using the app whenever you like and ask for your account and your data to be deleted.
In Settings, the Start over button erases your entries right away.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. When a change is important, we will let you know through the bell or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, it means you agree.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you live in another country, the consumer rights that the law there guarantees you still apply.
